Former Chairman of the defunct Olkejuado County Council Julius ole Ntayia, has confirmed rumors making round on social media that United Democratic Alliance gubernatorial candidate Katoo ole Metito has reached out to him to become his running mate.
In an exclusive interview, the veteran politician, told the Kajiado Star that: “He (Katoo) had recently sent some of his political strategists who came to my home in Kisaju, and they told me that they have made various considerations, and are pursuaded that I suit to become Katoo’s running mate .”
He said, after listening to them, he asked them to give him time to consider their proposal, after which they will meet again in the course of this week, to hear his response, and hopefully chart the way forward.
